| WVOX Sons of American Legion Special Veteran's Radio Segment Salute to Our Military Friday July 3, 2008 Good Morning Westchester Host Bob Marrone and Ken Kraetzer of the Sons of the American Legion are joined by members of the US military calling in from points in Iraq, Kuwait, and the United States. The program was designed as a special July 4th event in which veterans and members of the active military can be recognized. This segment welcomes a US Navy guest to the program calling in from
Baghdad Iraq, Lt. Sean Riordan of the US Navy, a native of Massapequa
on Long Island and a graduate of the US Naval Academy in 2004.
Lt. Riordan is serving as a Public Affairs Officer on a deployment serving
with the Multi-National Force-Iraq. Lt. Riordan and his wife Jennifer recently
celebrated this spring their first wedding anniversary. He will return to NYC
in late 2009 to work at the Navy Information office in Manhattan.
This was the last segment of the program.
