John Chuhran of the Pelham Sons of the American Legion fills
in for Ken Kraetzer. The special guest is Ralph Mianti, Vice
president of American Legion baseball for New York State.
Mr. Mianti discusses the history of American Legion baseball
program which dates back to 1925. He asks for posts and
volunteers to add teams from Westchester to participate in the
flourishing programs in Rockland County and many other parts
of the state.
The New York State Championshop of American Legion
baseball will be contested in Newburgh on Friday August 8th.
