USO Dinner: Gen. David Petraeus
Fisher House: Joanna Marino
Gen David Petraeus was the guest of honor at the 47th Dinner of the USO of
Metropolitan New York.  


Pelham native
Joanna Marino is a graduate of American University and a volunteer
at the Fisher House in Washington DC.  Fisher Houses are residential facilities
located near VA and military health care facilities that provide a no cost and
comfortable place for injured military members.

Joanna is collecting checks made out to
Fisher House Foundation that can be used to
buy gifts and necessities for guests at the Fisher House in DC.  They can be sent to:

1460 AM in Westchester County and around the world on WVOX.com.   The show is
held on the first, third, fourth and (Fifth) Tuesdays of each month from 2:30 to 3:00
PM.

The host of the program is Kenneth G. Kraetzer, Commander of Sons of the American
Legion in Pelham, NY; Vice Commander for Westchester County, and Vice
Commander for New York State.

The co-host on this segment was John Chuhran, a New Rochelle based PR executive
and Sons of the American Legion member.
