The "Sons of the American Legion Radio Report" can be heard live on WVOX
1460 AM in Westchester County and around the world on WVOX.com.   The show is held
every Monday from 2:30 to 3:00 PM.

The host of the program is Kenneth G. Kraetzer, Commander of Sons of the American Legion
in Pelham, NY; Historian for Westchester County, and Vice Commander for New York State.

Good Morning Westchester Host Bob Marrone joins the program on holidays to host calls from
US service members deployed overseas.

In the college football season, SAL Radio conducts The West Point Football Report covering
the weekly highlights of Army coaches and interviews with West Point players, coaches, alumni
and officials.

CPT Erin Leach was commissioned through the ROTC program at Cedarville College in
Ohio and was selected to serve as a Blackhawk pilot.  Following flight school and her
Officer Basic Course she was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C.
 During her time at Fort Bragg she deployed twice to Afghanistan where she has flown
over 700 hours in combat.  After four years in the 82nd Airborne she attended the
Captains Career Course and then came to ROTC where she has served as our
Battalion Executive Officer for the past 18 months.  Captain Leach will be leaving the
Army in August to attend Graduate School at Clark University.



CDT Sidney Jaques is a communications major here at the University of Scranton and
will commission in the AG Corps on 26 May.  Cadet Jaques is a graduate of the Army's
Airborne School and last summer attended the Leadership Development and
Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, Washington.

She also played four years of varsity basketball here at the University of Scranton and
served as the team captain this past year.  CDT Jaques in October was a member of the
Battalion's Army Ten-Miler Team which traveled to Washington, D.C. for that event.  Just
last week she attend the George C. Marshall Conference at the Virginia Military Institute
in Lexington, VA.  Each year all 273 ROTC programs across the country send there top
cadet to participate in this program.
