WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Aug. 9, 2010 – Heineken USA and 42 The Restaurant invite Westchester
residents to honor U.S. service members at a Heineken with a Heart fundraiser benefitting the
Wounded Warrior Project, August 9. Community members are invited to show their support while
mingling with celebrity guests, enjoying complimentary cuisine and toasting our troops.

and older should head to 42 The Restaurant located on top of the Ritz Carlton-Westchester on
Monday, August 9, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Project). Once inside, they will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction of prizes
and memorabilia. All proceeds from the Silent Auction will be donated to Wounded Warrior
Project in support of its efforts to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of
severely injured service members.
“We are extremely grateful to Heineken USA for putting on such a great event in support of our
mission to honor and empower the great men and women injured while serving our country,”
said Abby Reiner, executive vice president, marketing, Wounded Warrior Project. “This
Heineken with a Heart event will be a fun and meaningful opportunity for the Westchester
community to make a difference in the lives of people that benefit from the Wounded Warrior
Project.”
“Heineken with a Heart” is a national philanthropic initiative of Heineken USA, distributors and
retailers, launched to build on a common commitment to giving back to the community and
worthy causes and organizations. Since its inception in 2007, Heineken with a Heart has helped
raise more than $700,000 dollars in needed contributions for local organizations through the
generosity of community businesses and consumers.
“Over the past three years, Heineken with a Heart events have given us the opportunity to
support dozens of worthy causes and make a personal connection communities around the
country,” said Dan Tearno, senior vice president and chief corporate relations officer, Heineken
USA. “Headquartered in White Plains, Heineken USA has a strong connection with Westchester
County, so it’s especially exciting to host an event that is fun and meaningful to members of the
community we call home.”
Rallying around this important cause, a number of special guests will be in attendance at
Monday’s event including Vincent Pastore and other cast members from the HBO series The
