Three veterans who are studying for degrees at
Mercy College.

The "Sons of the American Legion Radio Report" can be heard live on WVOX
1460 AM in Westchester County and around the world on WVOX.com.   The show is
held every Monday from 2:30 to 3:00 PM.

The producer of "Holiday Calls from the Troops" is Kenneth G. Kraetzer, Commander
of Sons of the American Legion in Pelham, NY; Historian for Westchester County, and

The host on this segment was Bob Marrone, host of WVOX's Good Morning
Westchester".

Good Morning Westchester Host Bob Marrone joins the program on holidays to host
calls from US service members deployed overseas.

Gerard Matthew, a Wounded Warrior who has served with both the Army
and Marines, was 90% disabled, exposed to radiation during service in
Iraq, lives in Marlboro, NY.  

Mike Kazimiroff  of Pelham Bay, Bronx, NY is a veteran of the US Air
Force who has served in Iraq three times.  He served as a Terminal
Attack Controller worked with Army working with Army on the ground
directing Air Force missions.  Studying for BS in avionics.  Member Iraq
Afghanistan Veterans  Association.  Appeared in "Miller High Life" ad
welcoming troops home.

Yasminda Downer, a five year Army veteran who served at Fort Bragg,
Afghanistan, among first to land, built warehouse.  Live in NYC but
moving to Yonkers.  Trained to be Combat Life Saver, now a nurse at
Sloan Kettering now.   Studying for MS in nursing.
