Rich DeMarco from the West Point Athletic Department and Football
broadcast team joined the show to preview Army's Friday night game
against Rutgers.
The "Sons of the American Legion Radio Report" can be heard live on
WVOX 1460 AM in Westchester County and "Around the World" on
WVOX.com. The show is regularly held on every Monday from 2:30 to 3:00
PM.
The host of the program is Kenneth G. Kraetzer, Commander of Sons of the
American Legion in Pelham, NY; Vice Commander for Westchester County,
and Vice Commander for New York State.
The co-host on this segment was John Chuhran, a New Rochelle based PR
executive and Sons of the American Legion member.



Marine Corps Capt. Eric A. Jones, 29, was killed Oct. 26 when his helicopter went down while
providing close support to troops on the ground in the Helmand province of Afghanistan. A
1999 Fox Lane graduate, Jones graduated from Northeastern University. After joining the
Marine Corps, he served two tours in Iraq, then was sent to Afghanistan.
Jones had served two tours in Iraq before he was deployed to Afghanistan. Jones was buried
with full military honors Nov. 7 at Bourne (Mass.) National Veterans Cemetery, near his
parents' Cape Cod home.
