John Mathew Ring, a former Pelham Hockey Player, who flew in the
battle of Leyte Gulf,was remembered, at the ceremony. Members of
the current Pelham Hockey Association were honored with the Freedom
Team Salute Award from the US Army in recognition of the packages
they have sent to deployed troops.
