American Legion Post 50 SAL 50 New York USA
The Annual American Legion outing at Shea Stadium in New York
City was held on Sunday September 16th 2007 in honor of the 25th
anniversary of the building of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in
Washington DC.

Joining members of Post 50 Pelham  in presenting colors and a large
American Flag were members of the Jewish War Veterans, Catholic
War Veterans,  and representatives of the US Sub Base at Groton,
Ct, the Naval Supply Base at Earle, NJ, the Marine Corps JR
ROTC from NJ, and the US Army bases at Fort Hamilton and West
Point NY.  Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey of Westchester County
and Mr. John Rowan, National President of the Vietnam Veterans of
America participated.  Videos were presented on the stadium
scoreboard provided for the occasion by the Vietnam Veterans
Memorial Fund Committee and the Pentagon Channel.
