| Shea Stadium September 10th |
| Post 50 members and its Sons of the American Legion detachment would like to thank the 256 participants in its September 10th 2006 outing at Shea Stadium. Post 50 was proud to host the visit of State Commander James Casey, SAL Commander Al Deichler, and Queens Aux President Penny Walsh. Color guards from Mt. Kisco and Elmont New York joined the Post 50 color guard which presented the State Colors. Pelham's large American flag was presented on the field by 31 dignitaries including State Representative Amy Paulin, and St. Patrick's Day parade Chair, John Dunleavy. We were very proud to have members of the NJ US Marine Corp Recruitment Staff an three active duty members of the US Army join us to help us honor the heroes of 9-11. |
