Since 2003 Pelham has been a proud participant in New York City Fleet Week hosting on Memorial Day members of the United States Navy and US Marine Corps. Members of the American Legion and Sons of the American Legion were invited to visit the USS Kearsarge as it sailed into New York Harbor in May of 2006. We thank officials of the Navy for allowing us this opportunity to visit the ships and greet the crew members..
